Message:Om, after giving up on email through the r380 for a while, I thought I'd try it again.
So I'm wondering if anyone out there is getting email from their Comcast @ home (cable ISP)? I can seam to GET my email every now and then, but can never SEND it. When the phone lists the "incoming server" and "outgoing server", what settings do you have? Which is the "incoming server" - is that incoming to the phone/PC (retrieving mail) or incoming to the server FROM the phone (sending mail)? (I'm in NJ if that makes any difference.) Also I'm just dialing up Voicestream's access number for the wap browser...is there another number (ie., Comcast's dial in number) that I should be dialing?
I tried what they gave me and no luck sending mail, and half the time I can't connect to get mail.
I gave up on this and just used yahoo mail recently, as that works well over the wap browser, but it would be nice if I could get the phone to work as advertised.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
