Message:

I have not as yet purchased a PDA because I am looking for a specific capability and haven't found it yet. Perhaps someone has the knowledge to point me in the right direction.

I have no preference or bias to any one PDA or operating system. This search is wide open; it either does this job or it doesn't qualify; price is relatively unimportant.

There are three parts to this configuration:
1. PDA
2. Media (audio) player
3. Control device (see below -- I already have this part)

First of all, the required PDA will have a USB port to which can be attached a STANDARD Windows-type keyboard. Although I may, at times, actually connect a real keyboard, the outboard device that I will connect (item 3 above, the control device) appears, electrically, and logically, like a standard keyboard.

The media player application must be controllable from the keyboard. You must be able to play one selection at a time. If WinAmp was available for a PDA OS, I wouldn't be asking this question; on a laptop or desktop, I would be using WinAmp.

Sound quality is a very important consideration.

Your input and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
