Message:

After additional trial-and-errors, I discovered 4 documents that were causing the Document Transfer from RuppLynx to Outlook to abort. It had nothing to do with the number of documents as I previously thought. It appears to have something to do with size. They all were large. When I divided them into 2 pieces the transfer worked. While testing with one of them, before dividing it into 2, I initially changed the first line of data and tried to save it. I got an error message saying it was greater than 16k and would be truncated. That gave me the idea that size was important.

I was able to copy and paste the whole document into an Outlook Note, so Outlook doesn't seem to mind the size. On the other hand, RuppLynx accepts the documents in their full size when transferring from the Zaurus. So I don't know which program doesn't like large files.

Another interesting fact: when I copy and pasted one of the full documents into Notepad, saved it and looked at the file size, it was only 7k. Maybe Rupplynx is ineffcient in storing documents. Who knows? Who cares?

Lesson: Beware of large documents if you want to transfer to Outlook.

PJ
