Hi Jakfish,Just wanted to know how did you set-up your parallel cable hook-up when you used the adaptor or I should say what kind of adaptor did you use?
I had gone to 4 electronic stores today (2 Radio Shacks, Micro Center, and Staples) and none of them sold a serial to parallel adaptor. One salesman said that it is not possible to link a serial cable into a parallel adaptor. He said it just will not work. But I still think this might work!!!
So Jakfish my question is how did you set this up what kind of adaptor did you use??? Did you use an adaptor or did you use the whole parallel cable?
I was also thinking of hooking up the Zaurus PC Cable to a parallel printer cable. But then it becomes so long (about 12ft. of cable) that it becomes a pain for on the road travel.
I'm not giving up on this project yet so any info would still help.
