Hi -- Z-Dude already told you the netzero and juno won't work, because you have to be running their own special s/w which only runs on windows. You need to call your ISP and ask them if they support generic POP3 clients... only way to be sure. If they do, you can goto www.rupp.com and click on manuals, where you'll find the manual for Z-em@il... find the pages where it tells you exactly what info you need from your ISP. Then you'll really know for sure if you can get it to work.Z-em@il is one nice hack! But I prefer the integrated Compuserve s/w because it also works well, and has a full screen mode, and most of all, doesn't eat up any of my memory since it's already there. BUT IT ONLY WORKS WITH COMPUSERVE CLASSIC -- NOT NOT NOT Compuserve 2000!!!!! You have to sign up for compuserve with one of their free CD's using a PC, but then you can use your Z -- don't let the CD autostart, because it will sign you up for Compuserve 2000, and as I already said above, DON'T DO THAT! Compuserve Classic is on the same CD, you just have to browse the CD to find the right folder (version 4.01, I think).
Compuserve s/w on the Z will also give you access to their great forums (a real nice zaurus one), and library files. Also an executive news clipping service, if you want to pay for it. Plus an auto pilot feature so you can download your messages and walk away -- it will do it all and disconnect automatically. You'll notice there are stock and weather options, but compuserve doesn't support them anymore. The feature advantage over Z-em@il is full screen mode, and you can see what messages are waiting for you before you download them to your Z... or you can just delete the ones you want from the server right there. The disadvantages over Z-em@il are you can only send one attachment at a time, and you'd have to pay for Compuserve Classic.
If you want Z-em@il, I see it on ebay from time to time.
So, hope this helps.
