Malay Netbook Owners
Psion supplied me with some software when my Netbook lost it's identity, would this convert a Malay Netbook as it re-writes the EEROM?
The Psion instructions with the software shown below.
Here are the files, the comment that went with them when they originally went out was:
This is a consequence of the EEROM not being set correctly. Please accept our apologies for this.
From the System Screen, type Shift-Ctrl-Q to see the machine information. The Machine Type should be "netBook", but is likely to be a selection of odd characters on your machines.
To rectify this, install and run the attached programs, then reboot your machine from cold - ie. remove all batteries, including the back up battery, then re-insert.
Put DAE2KE.LDD in \system\libs\ directory on any drive, and put SetNB.EXE in the root of the drive. Then run SetNB.EXE. Finally, reboot your machine and type Shift-Ctrl-Q again to check that it has worked.
