I just receved pocket st. Now how can I use pcc st. on my device without map point? I went to ppc st web site. They explaint how to use ppc st, no map point needed. Some how am doing something wrong, can open the map. Does someone knows how to use ppc st? I have STREETS & TRIPS 2003.

I can't help but I have a question.

Did you purchase pocket streets? For some reason I thought is was a free application of came with the enhancements on the install cd and when I went to put it on my machine I had to buy it. Just wondering if there was a free version out there.

Try this link. Maps work good and are a great tool. Limited to the bigger cities though...

Yes, my problem is cant used ppc st on my axim. I went to the web site & find out that you need map point. $249.00 $50.00 rebate. They show you how to install ppc st in your ppc without map point, but is not working.

Weird, I have PPC streets on my Axim and all is fine. I downloaded the maps from the above location and works great. Not sure. Got my Pocket Streets from one of the online download sites.

did you load the Pocket PC program off of the one Streets and Trips CD-ROM? You need to find the pocket PC program and load it onto your axim. It should be on one of the CD's in streets and trips.

Thanks. I have pcc st working in my axim. I have Mapopolis for pcc & this program works better than Street & trips 2003. This is a freeware to install, but you have to buy the maps.

I could have sworn that I seen a pocket atlas program on PDA street somewhere. Does anyone know if there are any FREE programs like this.

I found a copy of Pocket Streets 2001 on the ZDnet.com site, this works as long as you have maps from a pre 2002 MS program. However you can go to the pocket streets web page and download the update for the GPA and Pocket Outlook, which will convert the 2001 program to the 2002 program. This will allow you to use the free maps for major cities from the pocket streets site or to download maps from map point etc...

Works great for me so far - however I have not had any lunck in downloading directions from Map Point.
