PocketPC 2002 and IRDA

Okay, I am trying to beam files on my Axim to other PPC users Ipaq 38/39XX and other Axims). These files are more than just contacts and tasks, etc. Those work fine. I am unable to transfer MP3, AVi, ebooks, software apps, etc. Cannot send or accept those other file types. The PPC states that it is sending but eventually fails. The recieving PPC never gets fully connected and states Failed to Recieve data.

Successful types are...

Pocket word
Pocket Excel
Contacts
Tasks
Text

I have looked on Microsoft and MSDN but found no articles on this problem.
Anybody been able to transfer to other PPC users files not of the abovce type?

You might need to purchase a third-party app such as Peacemaker Pro. It allows files to be transfered not only to other Pocket PC devices, but to the Palm OS as well.
