Fatal Exception with Launcher on MS

I have an NR 70U. I was trying to delete some old/unsed files from my memory stick. But when I go to MS Gate, MS, Drill up to /Palm, then tap on Launcher, I get a Fatal Execption message and I have to soft reset.

I tried deleting new apps with no luck. Then tried a hard reset and still have the same problem. (have not hot synched yet)

Any suggestions?

You need to determine if the problem may be your memory stick or your PDA. Download FileZ from versiontracker.com (free file manager) and see if it can access your memory stick. If it can, stop using MS Gate and graduate to a decent file manager.
Then try accessing the MS via MS Import. If this works, then I would guess that the stick is defineitely fine. (If you do not use a backup app like BackupBuddy and you can access your MS with MS Import, make a copy of your stick on your PC. Try to keep it updated in case you have a problem with the MS down the road)

Try the above tests with another memory stick including MS Gate.

If FileZ or MS Import cannot access your memory stick, it may be corrupted. Assuming you are good about doing reular backups, you may need to reformat the MS.
