Palm Vx Hotsync Problems

I have developed a problem hotsynching my Palm Vx. I use Easysynch to synchronize with Lotus Organizer 6.0. The hotsynch process starts but stops almost immediately with a message that a program has not responded to the synch notification.

I've reinstalled the Palm synch application and removed and resinstalled the Easysynch software twice. I can't synch with either Lotus or the Palm Desktop (when Easysynch is uninstalled).

Anybody have a clue as the problem?
