is it possible to use a Siemens [gprs] modem equipped mobile phone with hp jornada 720 to connect to the internet ?
if so, where can the software/drivers be downloaded from?

Hi there,
I'm not that into Siemens phones, but if your model has got an infrared port you may connect to the Internet via GPRS without any drivers.
Make sure you're GPRS account is active and ready to use. You must also activate the infrared port.
Then create a remote connection in the Jornada Communications folder. Make sure to choose "Dial-Up Connection" (step 1) and "Generic IrDA Modem" (step 2), and write "*99#" instead of the phone number.
When connecting, tap the Dial Patterns button and set all fields to the value "G" (plain number only). You don't need to fill in username or password.
Align the two infrared ports (the phone and the Jornada), and then tap the Connect button. That would be all, I think...
