just like to know how good a 505 works as a gps and how good the maps / directories are that can be used..........and at what costfinding my way

You may also want to go to mapopolis.com and check out the very high quality GPS maps they have. They break them down into counties. They can range in size from 700k to 2900k so you do need space on the Palm. Obviously the map your GPS unit is working with needs to be in RAM memory inorder to be active.
