Avantgo is a "portfolio" in which you pick what contents you want to view offline. This is done by the Avatgo program, saving offline web pages onto your device. Why do they provide this service, Avantgo sells a spot on the download to put an announcement of the product(s). Sync your Profile before you wlk out the door, and you can read your pages, without having a WiFi or CF Wireless Modem connection to the internet. At time of this post, there are 1500 (Approx) sites available for your choosing. Oh yeah, you must register.

Avantgo was bundled on the Dell CD. Register for FREE and tell Avantgo what you want. Avantgo will download articles/site information when you hot sync.
I used this on my Handspring before X5.
Another program/site is Vindigo. Movie information is available free. They have a fee based program that includes map and restaurant information in selected cities. I like this also.
