R380 and earthlink

Hello to all. I jsut got the R380 and was hoping to connect it to the internet (WAP). I have a regular dial-up acct. from earthlink. Do I need to apply/enroll or sign-up for a special acct. to be able to use the R380 to connect to the internet? OR can I use my regular dial-up acct.? If SO, can anyone help me configure my phone (DNA, gateway etc...) so I can use it's internet connection capabilities.
