Volume on T615c

Hello,

Is it just my imagination or is the volume on the T615c not very loud? I have it set to maximum and I sometimes cannot hear it when it is in my day-runner.

My Palm Vx could be heard in another room even when it was in the same day-runner. I loved it. I used it for an alarm clock. I NEVER missed an alarmed message with it. I just missed one on the Clie because I had it in the day-runner in the next room.

I cannot use the Clie for an alarm clock. Is there any way to increase the volume on the device?

Have you gone into preferences, and changed the volume to "loud"... this may be very obvious, but thought I'd point it out.

I've had both a T615 and a T665, and they are both very loud devices.

Try downloading the replacement sounds which can be found at www.palmgear.com. Try 'em out, some are loud, some not as loud.

Again, overall, the T series has an excellent speaker and is (relatively) very loud!

Thanks for the tip. I do have the device set to loud - but it's always good to double check...

I have downloaded the files you mentioned. I will try them out. I do use an external set of alarm sounds already, and they were quite loud on the Palm Vx.

Let's see what these are like...
