The latest client is 5.2 build 8 (released 1/20/03).

REMAINING KNOWN PROBLEMS
WINDOWS ONLY
At this time our beta client software is Windows-only and will not install or run on MacOS.
HI-RES NOT SUPPORTED
Hi-resolution images are not currently supported.
PARTNER CHANNELS THAT CAN CAUSE SYNC FAILURE
We believe we have addressed many of the earlier problems that were causing sync failure when signed up for certain partner channels. If you are signed up for a channel that seems to cause sync failure, please let us know via the beta feedback email address listed below.
MEMORY CARDS
When syncing to a memory card, sync performance can be slower and launching the AvantGo software can take as much as 30 seconds.
Another known problem for Sony Clie's with Memory Sticks is that if your Memory Stick has not been given a label yet, the AvantGo client will not save to it. The workaround for now is to make sure you name your Memory Stick using either the "Clie Files" or "Card Info" programs.
THIRD PARTY LAUNCHERS
We've had reports that the AvantGo icon does not display properly with some third party launchers (SilverScreen, etc.).
COMPATIBILITY
This Beta software is not compatible with older versions of AvantGo software. If you install this software, you will not be able to use other versions of AvantGo on the same computer.
PALM OS VERSIONS
This software only works on Palm OS 5 devices. It will not run on older versions of Palm OS.
