PPC 2002 Email Notification Help!!

I'm having problems with my Ipaqs and Toshiba 704s at work. They are setup to recieve mail from a Pop3 server. They are also on a wireless network (always on connection). I have pocket outlook setup to check for email every minute with sound notification on. So theoretically, the pocket pc, which is always on, checks for email every minute, which it does... but it doesn't download the email!! I have to manually hit send and receive to download them.. I have tried downloading the full email and just the header with the same result. Also... I don't get any indication that there is a new mail.. It is supposed to play a wav file, a box pop up and the light is supposed to blink. Very important for my line of work... Please help.

I am having EXACTLY the same problem with my IPAQ (linksys wireless network, socket CF wireless card). I have been searching for days for an answer. If I find one, I'll be back. Please do the same. I actually have a slightly more difficult problem in that I would like to monitor 3 different email accounts simultaneously, and combine them into the same inbox, but I'll settle for one.

Scheduled send/receive will only happen if the account is currently connected. Make sure the Connect button is depressed. It's to the left of the send/receive button.
