Digitizer problem after Hotsync

Hello,

My Palm V is have this problem which the digitizer goes waaaaay off after the first Hotsync. (offset by about half a screen :() Even after a soft reset, the digitizer is still off to a degree that I can't calibrate it. The unit is all fine after a master reset though.

I even tried to re-flash the OS but that didn't work either.

Anybody have any solution/idea about this problem? I am about to take it apart and see if any of the connections inside went loose.

The Palm Vx is prone to digitizer problems. Sometimes they are created by software sometimes just drif, sometimes a loose cable, sometimes dirt under the edge of the screen.
YOu may want to try an app called AutoDigi II.

AutoDIgi II has a good success rate and will help with the digitizer over a wide range of causalities.
