One of our guys here is using a i705. It has MultiMail 1.0. I cannot find a setting to periodically check his email automaticallly and he gets sick of hitting send and receive--esp. after a couple of days of heavy email traffic. We are POP3 and using Macs if that helps or matters.

Q 2--Mac related. We are on OS X and Office X with Entourage. He's having major issues with the sync (which I think we can resolve with an update to the conduits) but he also wants to sync his email activity. For example, he scans email on the i705 and deletes a few. He wants the hot sync to delete the emails on his computer too (and vice versa). Any hope? Is there an upgrade to MM that would do this?

Thanks very much from a newbie.

There is a newer version of MultiMail that should prove the cure for your asssociate.
As to OS X and Entourage that is another world of suffering I have been lucky to avoid. Follow the thread below.

The only email that MultiMail auto checks is the palm.net mail and any corporate email you may have setup using the desktop link program. The standard POP accounts had to be manually polled by the user.

Hope this helps.

Has anyone tried "SnapperMail?"
I tried it and found it to be exceptional. You can send and recieve JPEG files but it has encryption issues that are unresolved.

for my Treo 300 and love it. I will probably put that on the i705 in question.

I have an ATT.net account and Snapper does not access that account due to the encryption.
I use a Minstrel modem with my 515 and really enjoy the ability to stay in touch on the move.
