Hotsync Problem

My Palm Vx will not hotsync, it states that it is not communicating with the PC. It will not do it using either the cradle or the USB cable. I tried it in a known good cradle on a different PC that I also back-up my calander on regularly, and it still would not work.

Try a Soft Reset (push the reset button).

If a reset does not work, try reinstalling the Palm Desktop software. This usually fixes problems that Palm users experience. However, in this case, it is unlikely it will work considering that you are having the problem on two computers. Still worth a try though. First just do a simple reset and see what happens.

I tried the reset, as well as reinstalling the desktop software. when the desktop is loading and tries to connect to the Palm, it cannot see it. I even tried to sync using the IR port, and I get the No Connection made right away on the Palm.
