Run the "Psion Synchronizer" to sync the contacts in the "Contacts" app with Outlook.

Not sure I understand the question.

If you want to add the email address from a message you have received to the Psion's "Contacts" application, do this from the "Email" menus within the message:

Menus - "Edit > Add address to contacts"

In addition to the contacts on the the Psion launch bar I also have a 'outlook contacts' in C drive, documents. This must be the one that sychonizes with outlook? how do i exchange information between them?

I have just entered a new 'contact' in Outlook, synchronized my Revo (that just happened to be the Psion I'm playing with at the moment and it saved having to unplug the docking cradle to plug in the PsiWin cable) and the new 'contact' now appears in the Psion's "Contacts" application. There is no file in the 'default' folder (normally C:\Documents) and the synchronization is directly between the Contacts app and Outlook.

I have no idea what that file in your Documents folder is. Is it a plain text file? Can it be opened with any particular application? Strange

FWIW, as far as I know Contacts always stores its data in c:\system\data\contacts.cdb (unless you tell it in preferences to store it in drive D: ).

Yes, that's correct, and the application can only open the file with that name and from the correct location. The mystery is the file Nigel now has in his 'Documents' folder which obviously hasn't been created by the Contacts application.

Well have had alittle play around and changed the settings so the outlook in app. is the one that the outlook on the computer now uses. The properties of the other was C:\DOCS.\OUTLOOK CONTACTS the properties said it converts to CSV(WINDOWS)?EXCEL? Dont know where it came from or how it became the default for the sync. program. Deleted now so hopefully thats that. Thanks.:)
