I dunno if any of you tech wiz have messed with this (and excuse me if this is a repeat post..really sorry if it is), but it's an IR access relay board, pretty interesting and I'm going to give it a try.

basically it is a chip (or they also sell premade boards) that lets you set security passwords...you can install these chips into all sorts of things that lets you "unlock" things using ur PDA's IR with the help of their software. THATS NOT ALL!:eek: it will also work on some mobile phones that have IR capabilities!!

it's usefulness?
well, for some of us nerds, imagine ur house controlled with these things, using ur PDA! you can add it to almost anything....on tapspring, they have an example of it's use as a IR car door lock...(how kewl is it to unlock and start ur car with a PDA???)
