Mine works, but the backlight has a slight problem. It doesn't turn on until around 43 'clicks' from the left (the slider). But it works fine. Just don't show me another T with a brighter screen or else I might just have to send mine back! :-)

The first one I bought = a great lil device.
I didn't start worrying about things like dust and screen protectors and and and until everyone else started worrying about them.
But, although (wood knocking) I haven't had any of those issues arise in my particular unit, I believe that some icky ones slipped through the cracks and unfortunately people got them.
Thankfully we have forums like these ("these sucky forums" :D ) to come together and rap about what may or may not be concerns for all of us.
