I asked advice about this problem but did not make myself clear. Why can't I access all of my Palm programs through my computer? I can access all the programs that came installed on my Palm m130, but
any of the programs that I have downloaded from the internet can be accessed through my Palm but not through my computer. I like to use my computer to insert data to my Palm. It seems like the software that I install on my palm should also install on my computer.
For example, I have a Grocery list program on my Palm m130 but I cannot put things on the list from the computer....just from the Palm.

The Palm m130 runs Palm OS. You computer does not. This is why you cannot do what you want. In the same way, some programs for Windows cannot run on a Mac.

The programs that came with your Palm probably have desktop versions. Because of this, you can use them on your computer. Keep in mind that just because they run on your main computer, it doesn't mean that they are Palm OS programs.

Some third party applications come with a desktop component, a palm component and a conduit. These types of programs will enable you to enter information on your desktop, then synch it to your Palm. SplashWallet (SplashPhoto, Splash Shopper, Splash ID and Splash Money) does this, as do life balance, documents to go, word smith and shadow plan. I believe PDA cookbook plus does also if you use PC, not Mac.
Most of these are shareware or commercial, but if you enter a lot of data, there may be one or two it would be worthwhile to buy.
