I don't know if these are the most efficient solutions, but they should work. You could:
1. Use Word on the PC to convert the files to PDFs, and then move to the Palm and read with Acrobat Reader for the Palm.
2. Purchase Wordsmith (http://www.bluenomad.com) or DocsToGo, and move to the Palm that way.
Personally, I'd probably use option 2, even though I have both. Why? Because I could edit, or insert notes, etc., as desired.

Hi!
Itīs a good idea, but iīm looking for making ebooks not word files.
If for example, Star Wars (the book) will be in txt file, iīd have no problem, but it is in word document. I go to peanutpress.com and they give you instrucyions of how to do it. I follow them to convert doc files to PML language or PDB using macros at microsoft word, but it doesnīt work.
Any other help?

Well, I am not terribly familiar with Dropbook. It sounds straight forward, but since I haven't used it.....
What sort of errors are you getting? Is it producing a document that doesn't appear as you would like? Are you having trouble understanding the formatting codes, or what?
Also, on a different note, I would consider Acrobat to be an ebook, but that is only my opinion.

I like djmangen need a bit more info. Using DropBook is a bit of a lenghty process involving two major conversion. The first from MS word doc file to the Palm Markup Language is accomplished by a Macro in Word. I would suspect that the problem is there. Often in Word when you have selected the Macro, the macro relenquishes its control to the main formatting .DAT file.
But give us a few more clues and we will continue to offer the idea of Adobe; we may even find the problem.

Hi all! Firstly i want to thank you all for your ideas.
I tried to save it at text and, i havenīt tried it yet, but maybe itīll work right!
Iīve seen some web pages of palm users that build their own ebooks and theyīre beautiful, I mean, at the beginning you can see a picture with the title and itīs really a very good idea because with that, you can personalize, canīt you?
Any one knows how to insert pictures in a txt file to appear in the same ebook, file with dropbook?
