I was curious if there was a way to connect to the internet on the pocketpc if it is in the cradle. Like use the PC's internet connection as the pocketpcs connection. I am sure there is a way to do it if I had somesort of network card, but is there a way to do it with just the cradle.

Yes; on the desktop ActiveSync application open the Tools menu and choose options. On the Rules tab make sure that the Pass Through Connection dropdown is set to The Internet. You will have the same access to the Internet that the destop host has.

What version of activesync are you referring to. I cant seem to find the Rules tab with the option Pass Through Connection.
Please help. I use ver 3.6.

I'm using 3.6 too; however this option was also in 3.5 (the older version I can remember using). Click the Tools option on the ActiveSync main menu on the host. The Options menu option opens with 3 dialog tabs.
At the bottom quarter of the third tab (Rules), the options for Pass Through are displayed ("To use passt through, this computer must be connected.)
The Connection: drop down menu has two options, The Internet and Work. Make sure it says "The Internet."

Is it possible to use this passthrough internet connection to sync with another machine across the internet?
ie. Guest connect to the local PC with pass through enabled and then do a network sync over this connection?
If this is possible, how do I specify an IP address to sync with, and which port(s) are used?
