Hello

i just purchased a used ipaq 3765 with pc card sleeve. I put my orinoco gold wifi card in and i was wondering how can i connect it to my Acess point. The card works i know but i do no get an ip from the access point. Does anyone have any pointers on how to get this started? Thanks in advance

Go to Setting/Connections/Network adapters. If you do not see the Orinoco card listed as one of the Installed Adapters then you either (1) have to download the proper drivers for the iPAQ or (2) there is no PC compaitble driver for that card.

I have a 3765 with the Dell Truemobile 1150, and the pccard expansion pack. The Truemobile 1150 is a rebadged Orinoco Gold card. This is the exact same card as the Compaq WL110. If you load the WL110 client on your iPaq, then insert your pc card, the iPaq asks you to name the "Unidentified card" Type the name of the compaq driver "WLCOM46" and everything works perfectly.
