New 3955 -- trouble synching

My new 3955 arrived last night -- and I think it would be really cool IF I could sync appropriately. I have tried to both sync and move some Word files, and they are not appearing on the IPAQ... Some other files have synced, but NO Word files are synching. My PC is a Dell Inspiron 8000 with WinME and Office 2000.

Are you placing the Word file in the "iPAQ Device Name" folder in your desktop "My Documents" folder? I believe that is the only place that is checked for file synchronization.
