eternal calibration

I am stuck in the calibration screen. I can activated each corner and the center, but it just keeps cycling through the test. If I soft reset the touch screen does not respond.

Try a warm reset to see if an app on the Palm is at fault. Hold the Scroll up Button down and insert and remove the reset pin. Hold the scroll up button until the Palm passes the logo screen.
If this relieves the situation there is a software conflict and a hard reset with reinstall of the basic software is in order.
If the Welcome screen is still seeking your poking and proding there is a hardware issue. Time to call Palm and see how your warranty is doing.

I'm having the same problem. I tried a hard reset after everything else failed and it's still going on. Can't get out of it at all now!!
