SD Card Brand/Speed

I want to get a 512MB SD card so I can have a ton of music for aeroplayer and lots of maps for mapopolis as well as all my other software and not have to swap SD cards.

So, I found out that, at least for some brands (Panasonic and IOData), that the 256 and 512 MB versions of their cards are 5 times faster than 128MB or smaller cards.

Does anyone know if that is an SD standard and any brand 512 card would be faster? If not, what brand(s) would you recommend in a 512MB size?

using a hitachi 128 mb i can't really answer to you but it is alreadymuch faster than a mini 8 mb which i also use to save some datas...when ever you're decided, plse let me know the price you found

(i saw today on macclub.com a lexar 256 mb for 80$...does it sound possible ?)
