I just received a PC Unite watch and was wondering if any one else who may have one or had one has had the problem I am having with mine. I have a Palm IIIx PDA device which is supposed to work with the PC Unite watch to send by infrared PIM information from the Palm device to the watch and vice versa.
My watch came with the software for doing this, but I have not had any luck so far getting the Palm and the watch to infrared with one another.
Is there a trick to this? I am wondering if I am doing something wrong? If anyone out there has these devices or had them and they worked for you I would like to know if there is a certain way to set them up to work correctly.. The information on the CD that came with the watch is sketchy at best. Like do you leave the Palm device in its cradle when doing the infrared or do you lay it flat etc??
