My iPaq syncs to my desktop PC and all is well when I'm sat at it.
I can access it (my desktop) via Remote Desktop (XP) when I'm working elsewhere and I choose to make my local serial ports available when connected.
I want to sync my Ipaq, physically connected to my laptop vai remote desktop to my home PC but it's not working.
I can see that something works, when I "get connected" I can see the "connect to" dialog appear on my iPaq but the connection never suceeds.
ISTR having this problem when using serial previoulsy and the solution was to slow the serial speed on my iPaq.
I have slowed the connection to 19200 and still have the same problem, is there a wayof going slower?
I have an iPaq 3630.
If this isn't going to work, can I do a network sync via a "guest" partnership to my laptop, passthrough via internet to my desktop? If so, can I specify an IP address and port somewhere? I'd use SSH port forwarding.
