I just checked Dell's site yesterday, and it appears that my order has been pushed back another week--making my total wait time since I ordered my AXIM well over a month.

For anyone who has called and complained, did they bump your order to be delivered sooner? And what did you say?

I did not get a faster ship date, but because they bumped my order twice, I did call back and ask for the discounts that came up during the wait time to be applied to my purchase. check the discount sites like fat wallet. It took some phone time, but they did give me a nice additional discount. So work em like a cheap suit and see what you can get. Good luck. I hope you got the 400, cuz the stand is sooo cool

And I got the 300, but I bought the cradle too.

ordered my 400mhz and got it in two weeks however my keyboard and travel sync and leather case just got bumped another two weeks ?????

Their sales department seems to be the only mildly consistent function in the organization. You want to talk to someone quick....buy something...anything else...forget it.

Woo! I complained in an email, and what do you know? My order was bumped back to it's original ship date. It went out for shipping last night! :D

But It's still sad that I am so happy that something I ordered over a month ago is just coming now. Oh well. :)

And when I ordered my cradle and leather case, they came right away. So maybe they try to placate people--if you buy the 300, the accessories come right away, if you buy the 400, the real goods come fast. I'm sure everyone would prefer both to come fast, but oh well.

who did you complain to because I e-mailed my sales rep two times and my order just got bumped back for the third time today!!! I ordered it on the 18th of JANUARY now it is suposed to arrive to me on the 3rd of MARCH!!! This sucks, any pointers would be very welcome.

But anyways, my email wasn't strongly worded, I asked why my order was being delayed, and how I could cancel my order if it took too long.

For the email, I just pushed the button at the top of my order page. It was a link that said something like Request Service something something.

But good luck. Complaining can get you far. :D

And that's so odd how yours' will be delivered to you three weeks after mine. I ordered mine on the exact same day that you did! January 18. :confused:

Back in a post called "Proof of Dells Incompetence" I posted a number I got after a lot of fit throwing. The extension (then option 3) gets you to Dell Customer Priority Services. I complained to them about the back order, she talked to the Expedited Fullfillment people for me, and 2 days later I have my order. Might be worth a shot!!

;) Sorry for all you pepple who bought the cheep 300mhz pocket pc from dell but those ship much later.
I ordered mine on a Monday the same night they put it togather and shipped it i am looking for it thursday or friday so if anyone is looking to buy and want it fast order the 400mhz axim.
