I'am haveing a problem with my new Sony clie n760c. I can't get open mg Jupebox to see my clie device. I have the clie plugged in via the usb port and the pc installed the clie device. I don;t understand. Is it because I need a memory stick becuase I don't have one. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Also where can I download a good .pdf program for my clie? Thanks

In order to toransfer music from the open mg software to your clie you need to purchase a white memory stick. To play regular atrac3 files you need the white memory stick because it has copy protection software on it, so you cant put that type of file on your clie without it. There is a way to put mp3 files on the blue memory stick but I dont know the exact steps to do it. You can call sony for step by step instructions.
Here is a link to another post on the board on how to put mp3's on you clie with the blue memory stick

As for the open mg software to so your clie is connected you have to set your clie up for transfer. You can do this two ways. The first way it to open the audio software on your clie. The click the menu pull down to activate the options menu. Click the options tab and then click transfer . When your clie screen shows a picture of a handheld device and a picture of a computer with music symbols in between them you are ready for transfer.
The other way is to start from your home screen. Click MS import. Your clie screen will then say connected to pc. Yor Open MG software will automatically recognize the clie when the transfer mode in activated. If you wan to transfer data via windows explorer your clie will be under drive F when the transfer mode via MS import is activated.
Hope this helps

Acrobat Reader is available for Palm OS:

It has improved since it was first released. I just wish it would take full advantage of Clie's resolution.
