I recently purchased an Axim and have attempted to download some programs. If it is an .exe file, I have no problem, but if it is a .zip file, I unzip it to my ActiveSync folder, but I cannot figure out how to get the program onto my Axim. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Also, is there a good (free) money manager program out there anywhere? I have downloaded Money, but its functions are limited.

Thanks!

The ZIP files should have some install programs associated or at least a README file. Check that out.

I use Money so no help there. There are some others on the market, take a look at Handango or pocketgear.

When there is such a thing as a read me file or some other file, I get the message "CE App Manager not found/Reinstall ActiveSynce". I reinstalled it and it didn't make any difference.

Do all of this outside of activesync in a folder such as My Docs or TEMP.

I tried that, too, but nothing seems to work. I still get 'CE AppManager not found/Reinstall ActiveSync'. This is so frustrating!

So when you click on the setup file and it attempts to bring up AS and goes to the "add programs" portion, it locks up and gives you that error???

Hummm...
