Audiovox 9100 phone problems

I purchased a CDM 9100 phone to go with my maestro/e570 with the included audiovox cable but I can't get it to work. According to audiovox the 9100 won't work as a modem for the PDAs due to a problem with the chip set or something and that I would have to buy a 9150x.

Has anyone else run into the same problem or has anyone had success using the 9100 with their pda? please let me know!!

I have the Audiovox 9100cdm cell and it works fine with my Maestro. Worst thing is trying to type data on the screen.

Good to hear that it works, turns out the e570 doesn't have the appropriate driver to recognize the phone. Does anyone know where the a driver can be downloaded? The driver is factory installed on the Maestro and Audiovox said they couldn't help.

I also have my Maestro to work with the phone. Biggest problem is it is slow as hell. I saw a web site a while ago that was selling cables for the E570, e550g, e310, and e740 with any phone and one of the phones is the CDM9100.

What was the website? I'm looking for a cable. I have found (thru another forum...cough...cough) how to setup serial emulated communications for the USB port on the e740 expansion module.
