Beam with Palm Vx

Is it possible to beam all of my old contacts from my Palm Vx to my Axim? I have tried but with no luck. I was just curious if I was doing something incorrectly.

it is but you will need a separate piece of software. Do a search for palm to pocket pc and it will give you some results.

Peacemaker Pro is capable of beaming information to Palm devices and mobile phones. You can send files and PIM data with this program. There is also a freeware version of Peacemaker which will allow you to beam business cards, but not files.

If you are converting data from your Palm to the Pocket PC, it would be easier to synchronize the Palm to Outlook and then install ActiveSync and then synchronize your Axim to get the data transferred onto the device.

Run your Palm setup program and choose to synchronize with Outlook. Pocket Mirror, a special synchronizing utility, will install automatically. Your Palm's data will transfer to Outlook when you run HotSync at the end of the installation. After running HotSync, install and run ActiveSync to get the data onto your Axim.
