In need for help.

I converted a mpeg file with the video converter en placed this file on my storage card.
But it looks like the videoplayer can only play files which are on the main memory, can't switch to other location.

Is this true ?

For any file on a CF card to be automatically recognised by the PDA you must have a MY Documents directory on the CF card & place the files in this directory.

You could double tap on a file located anywhere the appropriate application will automatically start.

What you need to do is create a folder called
"My Documents" on the memory card. In the ROOT folder
Then Windows CE will list all the contents of "My Documents"
folder in main memory and external memory as one long
listing.

One you have this folder "My Documents", you can create
sub folders to separate files like music, video, and also
applications can be installed in subfolders too.
