I lost the ac adapter for my m505. I believe that it has a 5.0V 1.0A regulated DC output.

Can anyone confirm this?

Can I use any adpater that meets these specifications as a replacement?

Also, if anyone could upload pics of their adapter it would help me search for mine.

Thanks a lot.

I had a friend that tried to substitute a power supply and it had the same specs on it as his Palm and he burned his Palm. I looked on my power supply and it is output 5.0 volts 1.0 A. You also need to make sure whether the outside ring or the inside ring of the plug is negative or positive and that it matchs the Palm. Mine did not show which ring was negative and which was positive. I also noticed that it was built by Motorola, if you happen to have a Motorola cell phone check it and see if it is the right voltage & amps.

Sorry I could be of more help.,
Have a good day,

I actually lost it or left it at home during the move to my dorm room. I had my dad send me whatever adapters i had in my computer room back home and one of the one's he sent me is a Motorola with a 5.0VDC 1.0A regulated Output.

The top of the label on the adapter says the following:
180-0711
AC POWER SUPPLY
MODEL NO.: R410510
INPUT: 120VAC 60Hz 11W
Output: 5.0VDC 1.0A REGULATED

If the adapter becomes lost again, Targus makes travel USB

Charger/Sync cable for the m505. I got one at Staples.

Was the inner ring positive or negative?
