Software for special quotes and bible verses

I am looking for a program that will allow me to put special quotes and bible versus on it and be able to categorize the sayings. I would love to find one not just for my palm 515 but also for my desktop. I would love to find a program that could take the sayings and put them on my desktop screen randomly as my screensaver. THanks.

I use Laridian “My Bible” as well as “Prayer Partner” and “Memorize”. Between the three programs from Laridian.com (and now 5 versions of the Bible all on my 64mb card) I am able to do exactly what it sounds like you want to do. I can ready any of the 5 versions anywhere I have my Palm 515. I can add and save prayer requests, and I can save Bible Verses for memorizing, testing myself, and all rather than wasting time on a game or similar. They are all priced reasonably, and I love the way you can download all the programs you have purchased any time you log in to their website. I used to use Palm Memo and have a separate category for Bible and Motivation, but I find the Laridian programs more useful and efficient for this specific purpose. The Palm Reader is probably the tool you need. If you go to the Palm.com web site you will discover that Palm offers a free application for converting your own text of that of others into "ebooks" to be read by Palm Reader. There is also a Desktop component so that you can read on the Palm or the desk top.
