the pockettop keyboard can be bought in numerous places. Check ebay, I got mine used but in mint condition for $40 inlcluding shipping.

ive heard several people say that IR doesnt always catch all keystrokes?

i have dells keyboard for axim but it only has a single post under the space making it hard to tap the space bar on the side and getting it to register a space.

Which keyboard do you have? The snap on type or the folding type? The reason I ask is I just ordered the fold out type this morning and for the money I hope that it is a good one.

Has anyone used a wireless keyboard?? If so how far have you been and still had your axim still receive the IR beam?

I have the micro innovations wireless keyboard with the driver downloaded from their website and have had no problems. The driver allows you to adjust the screen orientation, so I either flip the orientation upside down and align the IR ports up directly, or I orient it to the left and use the mirror included with the keyboard. No problems as of yet (after I figured out how to re-orient the screen to align the ports). I got it at Circuit City.

Is there any delay time between typing and actually seeing the character appear? I've heard there's some type of lag time so that's kept me away from them but I've never actually seen it. Is it true?

very very slight...barely noticable. People like to really criticize. This is an awesome keyboard, feels like a laptop keyboard and is very very small but comfortable.

I tried an Omiz wireless keyboard on my Pocket PC. I ended up uninstalling the driver because it was conflicting with my beaming software. I think I am going to wait for Bluetooth keyboards to be introduced before I get another wireless keyboard.
