Hi. I was wondering if the m100 can use the IRDA port to work as a remote control, like many PDAs can?

If you have the software.

My vote also goes for OmniRemote. Even though it is not free, it is the best program out there in my opinion.

Yes, OmniRemote is definitely good, but I wish it had presets like clie rmc, since it is a pain to train omniremote, and it usually isn't completely accurate. A combination between the two would be great, with a database of most controllable things, and the option to train it if the device is not on the list. Anyone know of anything like this?

thanks all...

another question: is there a free program that can do this, or will i have to use a commercial program?

I have looked long and hard and have not been able to find a freeware remote application.

Also, I have not been able to get Omniremote to work. Everytime I try it says the IR port is in use. Any suggestions?

Also, to add to the above comment, just make sure the driver is turned off and you don't have a over clocking utility enabled and you will be ok.
