When I sync my Palm 500, by default if syncs with my PALM DESKTOP.

I now wish to sync with my OUTLOOK 2000/2002 on the same PC; how do I get my PALM M500 to do this, and hwo do I get it to switch back to synching with my PAM Desktop later?

YOu will want to install the Pocket Mirror Conduit to Outlook that is on your original Palm Install CD. Brouse the CD for the Pocket Mirror Folder, open the folder, and then install the Pocket Mirror software.
If you want to switch to the Palm DeskTop on occassions go into the PocketMirror folder and click on "Settings" then in the ONE TIME ACTIONS window choose "Backup to Palm Desktop Files".

Hi,

I bought a PDA off a person but didnt get any software fromhim, and was wondering where I can get that type of program?? I know pocket mirror is like $50 to get, but is there something out there cheaper or better yet free that will do about the same thing??

I dont want to shell out $50 for the program..

The "Standard" Pocket Mirror software is free. Download from the Chapura site. If you have trouble finding it call or email and they will email you the link. Sorry I missed that point earlier.

DR Mud,

I looked at the Chapura site and could not find any free pocket mirror software. I seen the upgrade for the Standard, from version 3.1, but it stated a price of $39.95.
If you could please send me the link...that would be awesome.

I know the Standard has always been free to current Palm Owners. THe link below should be it. I don't believe that the Pocket Mirror software needs to find and earlier Pocket Mirror on the your PC in order to load correctly. Download and give it a try.
