It is obvious, however lets explain why it is not needed.
The memory on your device doesn't have to be used as storage for files or programs when you have Sd/CF. When installed Programs, install to CF and also keep files on CF or SD. Some programs require to be loaded to main memory but these are few and far between.

I would like to install Adobe Acrobat on the Axim, but the files on a memory card. Is this possible? The same with HanDbase. The program on the internal memory and the files on the memory card. Thanks for the info.

Yes, you can install Acrobat in main memory and open pdf files on a SD card. I'm currently doing this with my PDF files, pictures, movies, and music.
