I am unable to install any applications on my Handspring. If I place an application in the HoySync Manager's window to be installed the sync operation cancels out and I get an error message.

What kind of error message?
Recreate the error...and attach your hot sync log.

For what it is worth, in addition, every time I sync the 3.1.1 update is re-installed. I have to soft reset my handheld every time. I do not lose any info but it does not seem to be something that should be going on.
