new media player?

i downloaded the new media player, and i can not figure out how to copy music files or video file to my x5. does anyone else have this problem or do you bother using wmp?

I dont bother with WMP. I use RealPlayer.

It comes with own format to rip CD's, sounds great after getting the plug-in for PocketDevices. I use PocketTV for MPEG's

Why did you download the new WMP for PPC? The SP3 already has WMP 8.5 installed????

You can use third-party cd-rippers to create MP3s or WMP files. You can then copy and paste the files onto your Pocket PC or the memory card.

Several of these cd-rippers are free and are available for download at ZDNet's web site.

I am having problems syncing MP3 files. I am using the WMP that came with the Axim. Do you lose connection to your Axim when syncing MP3 files?

I use the PC WMP to sync MP3s to the Axim and I don't get disconnected.

How do you sync with PC WMP? I have looked for options on the pull down menus in the PC WMP, but do not see anything that looks right.
