Apps keep running?

Hi,

This may be the dumbest question of the forum, but I have to ask it.

When I use an application like "contacts", and then close it (or so I think), I go to the tab that says "running" and contacts is in the list of running apps although I thought I had closed it!

I guess this is normal, but why is it like this? What do you have to do to really close an application?

What I have found is that you choose the HOME button or from the Programs Group and choose the running tab and then press and hold the stylus on the program you want to stop and select stop or stop all. If you stop all the activesync will stop too. I don't know if there is another way or not but that's what I've found. Hope it helps.

They help you close apps without digging down too deep as they sit on the bar on the top of the page and you can access them anytime.

There are others that do this to.
