Hi,

I have a MC218 and wish to connect to internet thru the cable that is connected to COM1 in my computer, that is connected by cable to internet.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so : how ??

And is the standard (mobile) internet program usable for normal pages or only WAP ? Which browser is best to use ?

Later I will also connect thru a mobile (GPRS) but I wish to have it working before ....

Sure, this is possible. :) You can do it with the help of Mocha Win32 PPP. Check out this link which gives an excellent step by step guide on how to do it:

It includes a link to the download site. Post again if you need any more help with Mocha.

The standard Internet browser in the MC218 is for "normal" Internet pages, not WAP. It works pretty well, but a more fully featured browser is Opera, which you may like to try. The Internet app will do fine for now, though.
