Verification Server?

I have a new internet- and emailaccount and it works fine on my PC but I can’t send emails with my Ericsson MC218.
On the PC I have to check “this (outgoing) server needs verification”. I can’t find a way to check/install this on the MC218. Does anybody know a solution?

The Email application in the MC218 doesn't have the facility for SMTP server authentication.

I don't know where you are based but one possibility might be to use another ISP to connect to the internet and send mail, but continue to retrieve incoming mail from the ISP you've just set up and also continue to use your existing email address.
