Fatal Alert

I went to perform a hot sync this morning and I got a fatal alert message. My Zire now stuck on the fatal alert screen and it has a little thing on it to reset it that does not work. Help! I am not very good with computers so I don't know what a hard reset or soft reset is. The battery might be low, but I don't think so. I just got the unit in December from a relative who knows I am nor very organized. It was perfect for me until this morning.

There is a little hole in the back of the Zire. Unbend a paper-clip and gently poke it in the hole- yes, I'm serious. That should make it reset without erasing your records. Good luck!
